Student Athletes are getting injured way too often. Youth sports are growing more intense and elite by the season and we have to do something. At Next Play Performance, we believe that it is possible to decrease the chance of injury through focused sport specific training and by educating our young athletes to protect and strengthen their bodies.
ACL Prevention | 4 Week Series
Co-Ed | Tuesdays or WEDNESDAYS
250,000 ACL injuries occur in the U.S. every year.
Females are 4–8 times more likely to suffer an ACL tear than males in similar sports. Males can still also benefit from our ACL Prevention Series.
The most common age range for ACL tears is 15–25, especially among high school and college athletes.
Basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and football account for the majority of ACL injuries. We add gymnastics, volleyball and field hockey to the list.
In female high school soccer, the ACL injury rate is almost 5x higher than in male soccer players.
70% of ACL injuries are non-contact, caused by sudden stops, pivots, or awkward landings.
Recovery from ACL reconstruction surgery takes 6–12 months, often longer to return to full play.
Only 55% of athletes return to their previous level of sport after ACL reconstruction.

Next Play Performance is offering the return of our wildly popular ACL Prevention | 4 Week Series for young male & female athletes held at our strength training gym in Wyckoff, NJ. Our in-house Physical Therapist, Dr Mike Blanco, will run this vital strength and awareness training program.
Dr Mike Blanco of Rival Physical Therapy is an ACL Specialist who has over 3 years experience treating and preventing ACL injuries as a Physical Therapist and 9 years total with a background in exercise science.

ACL Series Payment/Cancellation Policy:
*Full payment is due at time of sign-up and is non-refundable. Payment is for full 4-week series for the specified purchased dates. There are no discounts, refunds for unattended sessions or carry-over to future sessions. In certain circumstances, a credit could be issued for use towards future training within 6 months. We reserve the right to cancel the series, if minimum enrollment of 6 participants is not met. In this case a credit will be issued for use towards future training within 6 months.
